Ok first the disclaimer…… I am new to blogging…. hell I only joined Myspace and Facebook in late 2008 so be kind!!
I am what could be described as a …. um …… slightly crazy Augie March fan. I prefer to see myself as incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about them. I moved to Melbourne from Perth in August 2008 as I figured that 1. It would be cheaper than flying to Melbourne to see them a few times a year and 2. I would also be able to see them play more regularly. So far this has worked out amazingly well. Since moving here I have seen them in Melbourne 3 times as well as once each in Hobart, Adelaide and Brisbane….life is good.
The purpose of this blog will be to share my thoughts about the band, my upcoming trips to see them (of which I hope there are many) and reviews about the shows etc. I imagine that there will also be a teeny bit of un-Augie related stuff as even I sometimes think about things other than Augie March ….yes horrifying I know.
A big thankyou to my friends who have given me so much information about the mysterious world of blogging.
And finally, Nico …. look your big sister has become an even crazier music fan!!!! This one’s for you. Xxx
